Nissan and Monlau

Benefits for the students’ professional future

At Monlau, we are committed to Vocational Training in Automotive Technology that is connected to the reality of the workshop and the brands. That is why we collaborate with Nissan, a benchmark manufacturer in the sector. The brand has provided the centre with a fleet of 13 hybrid and electric vehicles. This allows students to learn by working directly on current cars, with the same technology they will find at dealerships and authorised service centres.

In addition, the collaboration includes the Nissan Classroom, a theory classroom within Monlau’s Automotive Vocational Training centre in Barcelona. It is a training space linked to Nissan, where students receive sessions and explanations related to today’s automotive industry and the sector’s technological changes.

Training with latest-generation Nissan vehicles

Thanks to this partnership, Automotive students work with models such as the Nissan Qashqai, Micra, X-Trail, Juke and Ariya.

In this way, they can see first-hand how hybrid and electric systems work, as well as the main driver-assistance features found in today’s vehicles. All of this makes the training closer to the reality of workshops and authorised service centres.

On the other hand, this collaboration strengthens the link between the company and the educational centre. Direct contact with Nissan allows the training to better adapt to the real demands of the labour market and improves students’ employability. It also helps Monlau maintain its role as a benchmark centre for Automotive Vocational Training in Barcelona.

In summary, the partnership between Monlau and Nissan brings Vocational Training even closer to the day-to-day reality of the automotive industry, combining theory and latest-generation vehicles within a single training project.
