Train as a professional motorcycle mechanic and learn to maintain, repair, and tune up motorcycles and mopeds in workshops, dealerships, and official service centers.
This intermediate vocational training program qualifies you to perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations, accessory assembly, and motorcycle modifications, working on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, while always complying with the quality, safety, and environmental protection specifications required by the sector. The program has a total duration of 2,000 hours, distributed over two academic years: 1,485 hours at the educational center and 515 hours of company placement (1,000 hours if you choose the intensive Dual Vocational Training), in on-site mode.

What will you learn in the Motorcycle Maintenance programme?
During the programme, you will learn to carry out maintenance and repairs on the main systems of motorcycles and mopeds, as well as to fit accessories and make minor modifications in line with customer needs and the manufacturer’s instructions. Among other skills, you will learn to:
Carry out basic machining, maintenance, and servicing operations on two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
Diagnose and repair fuel, exhaust, and emissions control systems.
Maintain and repair transmission, clutch, and gearbox systems.
Work on motorcycle-specific suspension, steering, and braking systems.
Maintain electrical and electronic systems: charging, starting, lighting, and signalling.
Install and check accessories and equipment specific to motorcycles.
Use diagnostic equipment and tools specific to the motorcycle workshop.
Apply quality, occupational risk prevention, and environmental protection procedures.

Who it is for and entry requirements
The Intermediate Vocational Training Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance is aimed at people who are passionate about motorcycles and want to turn that interest into a profession with a future.
You can enrol on the programme if you meet any of the general entry requirements for intermediate-level vocational training, for example:
Compulsory Secondary Education Certificate (ESO) or equivalent.
Vocational Training Technician or Assistant Technician qualification.
Having passed the entry exam for intermediate-level training programmes.
Other entry routes recognised by current regulations.
Academic progression
Upon completing the program and obtaining the Motorcycle Maintenance Technician degree, you will be able to:
Access Higher Vocational Training cycles in the Vehicle Transport and Maintenance family or others related to mobility and automotive technology.
Access the Baccalaureate.
