The Advanced Vocational Training in Multiplatform Application Development (DAM) qualifies you to develop, deploy, document and maintain software applications across different devices and operating systems, using specific technologies and development environments. All of this ensuring secure access to data and meeting usability and quality criteria in line with industry standards. The programme has a total duration of 2,000 hours, spread over two academic years: 1,485 hours at the training centre and 515 hours of work placement in a company (1,000 hours if you choose the intensive Dual VET option), delivered on campus.

First year in the morning and second year in the afternoon

In this programme you will learn to configure and operate computer systems, manage databases, develop multiplatform applications, implement ERP-CRM systems and deploy solutions in different usage contexts, both on intranets and on the internet.
What you will do if you study Multiplatform Application Development
Configure and operate computer systems, adapting the system’s logical configuration to usage needs and established criteria.
Apply security techniques and procedures in systems, services and applications, following the organisation’s security plan.
Manage databases, interpreting their logical design and verifying data integrity, consistency, security and accessibility.
Manage development environments, adjusting their configuration to facilitate application development and deployment.
Develop multiplatform applications with database access, using languages, libraries and tools aligned with the project specifications.
Design and develop interactive, user-friendly graphical user interfaces, using standard or specific visual components.
Participate in the development of games and applications in entertainment and education, using specific engines and development environments.
Package applications for distribution, creating self-installing packages with built-in wizards.
Participate in the implementation of ERP-CRM systems, assessing the usefulness of each module according to the company’s needs.
Deploy and distribute applications in different deployment environments, checking their behaviour and making the necessary modifications.

Entry requirements
You can access the Advanced VET in Multiplatform Application Development if you meet any of these general entry requirements for Advanced VET programmes:
Bachillerato qualification or equivalent.
Intermediate VET Technician qualification (Grado Medio).
Having passed the entry exam for Advanced VET programmes.
Priority will be given to students from Bachillerato pathways linked to the scientific-technological branch.
Academic progression
With the Advanced Technician qualification in Multiplatform Application Development, you will be able to:
Access VET specialisation courses/master’s programmes
Access other Advanced VET programmes in the IT and Communications field.
