15 workshops to learn by working on real vehicles
The 15 Monlau Automotive workshops are the heart of the centre: a space designed for students to learn by doing, in direct contact with the reality of the sector. Some of these workshops have more than 20 vehicles, and the centre has a total of almost 100 vehicles, many of them new models currently sold at dealerships, thanks to sponsorship agreements with different automotive brands and groups.
These facilities enable us to ensure that for every 4 students there is at least one vehicle on which they can put theory into practice, guaranteeing intensive, highly personalised hands-on training. The workshop thus becomes a professional environment where the same operations carried out at a dealership or an authorised service centre are replicated.
Technical equipment and
personal projects
This is a space designed specifically for hands-on learning, with all the necessary tools and equipment: paint booths, welding areas, lifts, workbenches, diagnostic equipment and specialised machinery. Everything is geared towards ensuring that students gain confidence, safety and technical judgement from day one.
In addition, at the end of the course, students must complete their own project, and many of them choose to improve the performance or aesthetics of a family vehicle. This means that, at certain times of the year, the centre can accommodate more than 200 vehicles between those belonging to the centre and those used in personal projects, further reinforcing the feeling of working in a real automotive environment.
